The GSSAB (Global Study of Sexual Attitudes and Behaviors, Pfizer/Kinsey, 29 countries, n=27,500) found that only 44% of men and 48% of women are fully satisfied with their sex lives. The global mean satisfaction is about 6.2/10.

• #1 predictor: Relationship satisfaction (not frequency)
• Communication about sexual needs
• Emotional intimacy and trust
• Physical health and low stress
• Frequency matters less than quality — once/week seems optimal
